As a native Texan who has eaten authentic Mexican food literally from Tucson to Houston, and across northern Mexico, the food here stands as good or better than anywhere else I've eaten. Excellent spice blends without being stupid hot. Hand made tortillas. Cannot recommend highly enough.
The food was excellent, serviced fresh and piping hot. The service was also excellent. The waiter was attentive without being intrusive. The prices are very reasonable. I would give more stars if I could. It is a little hard to find.
Los Toros is just off of the highway (Interstate 22) in Tupelo, Mississippi and is not far from the birthplace museum of Elvis Presley. With its location, it is convenient to both the residents of Tupelo, Mississippi and to travelers passing through. The staff was friendly and added to a positive overall vibe. I had a burrito and it was pretty good.
We had burritos and they were all meat and delicious. They were smaller than most burritos we order but it was plenty for as hungry as we were. They didn't have all of the rice and beans and pico that we expected but the meat was delicious and the price was very reasonable and we loved it. We were just passing through and glad we found this spot.

Fast easy service. They made a minor mistake with my order but PROMPTLY fixed it and gave me a 10% discount. THE FOOD itself was absolutely delicious. When i crave the freshness of a street taco, THESE tacos are what im craving. Will definitely be coming back.
This is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Tupelo. Great food, fast service and employees that recognize you. Their portions are massive and they also have good drink specials (pitchers of margs on Saturday night)!
